That could be shingles, if you have had Lyme disease your immune system might be a bit compromised and shingles will often occur of you are rather run down.
I've had shingle several times and I would describe the pain as similar to maybe a sting from a nettle, and coming in sudden bursts of intensity. The spots tend to be in a line because they follow a nerve. You can only get them if you have had chicken pox (at it is the chickenpox virus which lies dormant in your system and comes out as shingles is you are under the weather)

I would definitely see your GP in case it is shingles, you may need antivirals, but if it is too late for those to be much help (you need them fairly soon after the rash appears)you can still get painkillers for nerve pain which will ease it a bit. Some thing cool like an icepack wrapped in a tea towel held onto the rash can also be soothing.

I hope it isn;t as shingles is not very pleasant, but I would deefintiely get it checked out (and I would anyway in case it is a rash associated with your lYme disease)

The single spot looks like shingles or chicken pox maybe or possibly just a spot but it also looks like you've got a scratch.

How does it feel? Does the area around the spots feel different to normal? If it is shingles you need the antiviral meds ASAP
