Fasting for Gastroscopy can you still have water?

My DD is having the procedure done tomorrow & it's fasting from midnight. Is she allowed water? I forgot to ask.

Just a sip, not glugs.

Thanks she just had a few sips. All went well but she is diagnosed coeliac now.
