Mosquito bites bothering me now - around 2 weeks after?!

Hi all,
Just wondering if this is a problem, I've never experienced this before.

I was bitten around six times in Mallorca, in one evening by a mozzie I'm guessing. They were a little itchy but not bad and seemed to die down after a few days. It is now almost two weeks since being bitten but they are itchy and red all of a sudden. They don't look infected. What's going on?

I can have bites that flare up on/off for weeks. Pharmacist often good person to ask about these things.

Mine do that. I use antihistamines and hydrocortisone cream.

Im not prone to getting bitten and when I do I have no problems like this?!

Your body can change, Blossom. Do new things.
Or maybe it was a different sort of mozzie than usual.
Anyway, maybe a pharmacist can advise?
