Gallstones anyone suffer with pain left more than right ?

I was diagnosed with multiple gallstones in May. Waiting for removal . When I got diagnosed pain was on both sides but tender on right .
Since then I am on very low fat diet and cut out dairy products.
Gallbladder sometimes feels tender but for last month had pain on left towards bottom of ribs.
Gp says it's referred pain but would it hurt on left all time and not on right ?
Recently I had a CT to look at my bowel. They would have scanned left side so I presume if they would have looked at all organs and not just left side ?!
Results of that were everything looks normal .
Any advice would be great !

Gallstone pain is rarely where your gallstone is in my experience. I got pains dead centre and into both boobs, plus my upper back.

@trinity0097 thanks for the reply ! Does seem like that. I'm having it removed soon so will soon find out if the pain is from that

Same here I went to urgent care today worried my pancreas was bad! They basically told me to chill out could be from anything more likely gall stones

I am too waiting for the gall bladder to be removed and I get pain left side too just not as painful as the right side. I had a really bad attack last night and was actually sick too still not 100% today but luckily pain is only a ache today not full on pain.

@babybell89 easy for then to say when you are in pain ! Did they scan you ?

@chaplin1409 no fun is it. Do you have a date for removal ? My problem is pain is worse on left and there all the time . Getting me down !

No date when I saw the consult he said 6 month to a year so anytime from January. But I have had a Pre op appointment come through for September 4th.

@chaplin1409 think I've been lucky got a date for September only two months after seeing consultant. Hope you get a date soon. This little organ causing all these problems !

That's really quick. I suppose it depends on where you live. I had scan back in January and was only seen last month by the consultant.

@VLCos yeah scan on Tuesday gone gp booked next week with results but I don't think they even looked at my left side tbh.
It's throbbing now. Doesn't hurt if it put pressure on it though so Doctor said it won't be an organ so to speak.

@babybell89 ah I see so they were happy it was pain caused by the gallstones on the left side to ? I have hat throbbing all the time . No fun x
