hello not sure if I am on the right posting but thought I would raise it here but can always move to another one as I get confused easily lol.
Can anyone shed any light here?
I am 42, been on the mini pill for around 25 years, ouch I know thats a long time, and just recently, I am getting the usual PMT cramps for about 2 - 4 days but no period just cramps slightly and (first day always the worst) and discharge, white/clear (sorry details there).
I also have a very slight left abdominal pain too which is caused by a cyst which is about 1.5cm and have another one on right which is 2.5cm no pain on right. Its like a stitch at times on the left.
Apart from that, no other symptom and feel great. I have changed my diet to gluten free and sugar/dairy free to help with moods, breast pains and also bloatedness and low and behold voila all gone....apart from this weird pain on left and cramping.
Is this from being on the pill too long do you think? The doctor says its up to me to go for keyhole surgery as cysts not big enough and pain not always there, but hoping all is ok? He said its best not to come off the pill, but I was thinking my body needs a good cleanse?
Also has anyone come off the pill after being on it for years and its helped with anything or was it worse with PMT, thats my biggest fear going on here?
thank you everyone....a tad lost as to what to do? I was going to go for another ultrasound to see if cysts have changed etc.
