my 8 wk old ds sounds flemmy on chest..i can hear it and feel it when i place my hand on his back..though his nose is not blocked..will he need to be seen by my GP?

any tips on what i can do? as a result he is feeding less..

I would, in case it is a bronchial or chest condition. Small babies are vulnerable to complications from the common cold virus and can dehydrate if feeding becomes difficult. If he seems at all wheezy or starts to sick back what little he does take, get him seen quickly. It might be nothing but no decent doctor is going to complain about you taking him in.

Agree with LIZS .. at that age, wouldn't take any chances. They're really good about seeing babies, imo. Hope all's well
