infection or just a cild?

hi ds went to bed fine, woke up at 2am very snuffy and snotty so i gave him medised and put vicks on him and when he woke up thismorning he had the biggest green snot candles and one eye was full of green crusty gunk so do you think its a infection or just a cold he is also teething and no temp thanks

i would say cold but i woke up the same this morning and like an eeji, had left the wndow open all night so i know its hayfever starting its "magic"

probably a cold. infection usually causes significant rise in temp.
