Come talk to me I'm so fed up of feeling like this, the soles of my feet are tingling hurting, I have a duvet between my legs as I can't bear the pain of my knees touching, pelvis aches, ribs ache and I have a sore head. Can't sleep even though I'll be tired tomorrow.

Going to wake up tomorrow even sorer as I'm always worse when I sleep/stay still for long periods of time.

I'm sick of no one getting it, I don't look unwell, I hate noise and being touched oh and bright lights.

Sorry I'm just going to sit here and have a wee moan to myself Blush

I have fibromyalgia and feel your pain . Are you on any pain medication for it, not that they help but offer mild relief. It's horrible. It's hard for people to understand as unless they have fibromyalgia they have no idea of what we go through everyday, all day no break from.it at all.
Sounds like you are having a flare up. Even though sitting still makes the pain worse try not to do much in days when pain is very bad and try to take your mind off the pain reading or a game.on a tablet or iPad. Sometimes my fibro is bad I don't have the energy to do anything and with a pounding headache reading is a nightmare. Find drinking lots of water helps.

Yes - totally get it. Especially the feet.

Yep that is pretty much summing up my evening. Although my hearing is super super sensitive and I am going to have to go downstairs to take the batteries out of the fecking clock in the kitchen because the ticking is really annoying me. I shouldn't be able to hear it from the room I am in. Hmm

sweetkitty · 03/08/2017 09:15

Oh the ticking clock I hate those too.

Thanks to all who replied and sorry you are suffering from this shitty illness. Up this morning sore as hell again.

I only take tramadol now for my pelvis was on pregabalin but they did nothing and take pizotifen for migraines.

No one else understands my DH thinks I'm lazy when I nap during the day, my friends just don't get it, they were getting onto me to do a pretty mudder thing with them, obstacles and cold wet mud!

Have you ever tried doing low carb? I have heard that some people finds it really helps.

RupertsMum2 · 03/08/2017 21:41

I have Fibromyalgia although I've been pretty good This last week. I had a flare up at the beginning of July which has just settled so I can empathise. I do find eating lowish carb helps a little and I'm now eating gluten free which I think helps but I may be clutching at straws. I take naproxen, amitriptyline, fluoxetine, magnesium, vits b12 & D and, although I'm rattling its the best combination I've found for me.

I so agree that people think you are just lazy even when you try to explain. I do think my DH is beginning to get the idea now which helps a little. I have two friends with Fibromyalgia, one of whom has It really badly, and they keep me sane.

sweetkitty · 03/08/2017 23:29

I also take magnesium, vitB12, vitD, calcium and ribose.

Med wise just tramadol, paracetamol and citalopram oh andmigraine stuff.

I get you in the rattling. Had a good day today was determined to get stuff done never even had a nap.
