This is a bit embarrassing...Mooncup question

I finally got around to buying a moon cup and tried to use it this evening. It felt quite strange in place. I have a couple of questions:

How far should it go in?
Should the pointed end bit be at the opening of the vagina or further in?
Any tips on getting it in without it all unfolding?

Sorry about these questions but don't know anyone personally who uses one and hope that someone will take pity on me...

There is a knack to putting it in without it popping open to soon. Practise will make perfect.

I push it up past the bone bit, the stalk is inside me and not at entrance.

Thanks for such a quick response.

I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to get it back out and would be back down to the doctors surgery (where I'd just come from with DD1 who has tonsillitis and vomiting...)!!!

I shall practice tomorrow. Thanks again.

I don't put mine very far in at all, just so that it stays in and out of my way really

I find if the end is too near the entrance to your vagina, it can rub and be uncomfortable, so a little bit further up is good

I cut the tail off mine, just left a tiny bit to help grip when it is coming out. It apparently can rub quite a lot otherwise.

I just squoosh it all up and stick it in seems to work...

I push mine in pretty far, but I also use a diaphragm so I'm pretty comfortable with my anatomy.

Bear down and it will decent. Then grasp the base and squeeze to break the seal.

Then I sort of guide it out so the opening is facing the ceiling.

I also cut off all the stem.

Am i the only one who hasn't cut off the stem

That is a bad sign isn't it
