DD has had 3 large doses of iv antibiotics in the last few days and is on her third dose of co-amoxiclav (sp?!) and is really suffering with tummy ache. Will contact doctor anyway, but in the mean time...... any ideas?
Thanks x

live yoghurt will help repopulate the friendly bacteria in her gut but won't be a quick fix.

Thanks, am putting pro-biotic powder in her milk, but like you say, no quick fix.

sorry to throw a spanner in the works but dairy is best avoided when there are gut problems, so no milk or yogurt. Stick to rice, mashed pots, toast etc.

Depends what's causing the gut probs, donnie.

With a D&V tummy bug you're dead right but antibiotic-asscoiated probs are another kettle of fish entirely.
