Throbbing/pressure at side of nose/cheek

Hi, I know I'm clutching at straws here, but I thought I'd try anyway! For the past 20 odd years (I'm 41) I have had a consistent throbbing/pressure sensation on the right hand side of the upper part of my nose, just touching my cheek, under my right eye. The sensation goes along the upper side of my nose on my right, and sometimes I feel it in my top teeth on my right hand side and sometimes the throbbing is in my right ear. I have asked both my GP and my dentist about it and neither could give a reason. I don't think it's sinuses as my nasal breathing seems fine. I know that all my wisdom teeth are impacted and I am wondering if the ones on the right are pressing on a nerve. Can anyone suggest what it possibly might be? Thank you.

Hello.I have the same issue but with extending into my left eye.Dentist has recommended that my wisdom be removed which I have been putting off as it has settled again but I know it has to come out in near future.Hope this helps

Hi Fluffy thank you for your reply and I'm sorry you have this problem too. Did your dentist say that an impacted wisdom tooth can cause this throbbing sensation? I cannot think of anything else it could be. Thank you.

It's sounds like trigeminal neuralgia maybe. It's v painful.
