SPINNING.. how hard is it?

My friend and I are going to to a spinning class tomorrow, we havent don any exercise for some time.

How bad is it going to be, and advice welcome please

Hard but fantastic!

Worst part is that you get a sore bum cos the seats aren't comfy but you do cycle standing up as well as sitting down so you do get some relief from that.

It is upto you how hard you make it as the instructor will tell you to increase/decrease resistance at different times but if you don't want to increase it you don't have to - but it is great...wish I had the time to do spinning classes again

I think spinning is an exercise bike class, with weights. At least it is in US!!
Depends how fit you are, as it will warm up , then vary in intenseness then warm down. Just like a normal exercise class. But on a bike!!!

I havent done any exercise for a couple of years and am looking forward to it but also dreading it. I have a couple of stone to lose that has crept up on me with each pregnancy. Ihope that its not all super slim women there, will post same time tomorrow (if i am still breathing) and let you know how I get on
