nitty gritty comb on perscription

dd's are infested again, plastic comb broken again going through dd2 thick hair, so looked up nitty gritty metal comb. got nurses appointment this afternoon to get it on perscription. here

I saw that last year but it takes so long to get an appointment at our DR's surgery that I just got one off the internet!

(We have to book our illness 3 weeks in advance here )

Misdee, just wondered if you knew that you can get Hedrin free on prescription too.. it's wonderful stuff!, I bought some for £11 a bottle once and then asked my g.p. for it on prescription and he said "yes"!

dd1 has allergies and asthma so dont use treatments on the kids. thank you anyway, may be of help to someone else though.

I got the nittyy gritty comb on prescription.

Only used that with wet combimg, and got rid of them all.

and they've not returned......yet.

My GP wouldn't prescribe it, although he would have let me have a cheaper one on prescription. I bought one from the internet and it's OK on dd's very fine hair, but ds' hair is much thicker and I find it really hard to use on him.

Hope you manage to get hold of one, and that you find it easier to use on your dd than I do on my ds!!

In Scotland (don't know about England) you can go straught to the pharmacy, fill in a form and get it free - no need to get a prescription.
