Piles blocking bumhole - not been for a poop in over a week! {Tmi thread}

I had a baby three weeks ago and it took me week to go to for a poop as i suffered a 2nd degree tare and ended up having lots of stitches. After that it took me another week to go again but I found it really difficult and ended up pushibg so hard I've developed piles. However now the piles have swollen up and blocked my butthole so I can't actually physically go now. I called the doctor and explained this and he's just described me something to help me go,as he said I'm just constipated (bare in mind he only spoke to me over the phone not actually examined me)

I just feel like no one is listening to me! I'm in so my pain and bloated but physically can't go because it can't come out.

I've been using pain relief cream but all its done Is turn the pile from pink to black (on the top of it) and now its all rough,but the skin under it is all stretched and swollen.

Does anyone have any recommendations for creams that will shrink it? Or help?

Thanks

Is your health visitor seeing you? This is not good. You need someone to look at you. You may need your stitches sorting out. I think you need to see a gynae at the hospital- first talk to your HV or your GP and don't wait or be fobbed off.

Use ice wrapped in thin material to bring the swelling down. Do it for ten minutes at a time repeatedly. Drink prune juice to get the poo out without straining and making it worse. Visit gp or phone and ask for uniroid ointment and suppositories.

I've recently had surgery to get my post pregnancy piles sorted. You have my deepest sympathy.

My husband had this last week (not post birth obvs) it was a thrombosis hemarroid and he had surgery the same day. Go see your gp tomorrow

You need to see your GP and get this thrombosed pile sorted. I had it once, excruciating and embarrassing but there's cream can bring it down quite quickly. Good luck!

I had this after my sons birth-it took six weeks to clear up and 3 yrs later I still get them but nothing like it was.(tend to just swell a bit now and go down quickly with cream)
The only thing that helped me was taking a stool softener for a few month to allow the piles to heal and shrink.(cream didn't really work much on its own)
Hopefully this will start to work for you too...
