Dd has broken out with impetigo around mouth. I have some fucidin h from previous infection but just noticed it experienced in March. Will it harm to use until I can speak to GP tomorrow?

Put it on her...if anything the anti biotic ability will be lessened but it won't have turned to poison!

I've done it, it worked

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 16/07/2017 19:46

No harm, all it means as can't guarantee active ingredient will be at same strength

Redsippycup · 16/07/2017 19:47

Use it. I've used it a year out if date (it's amazing on spots....)

It won't hurt her at all, it just might not work as well as a new one would.

Use it, definitely. I had a tube going for, ahem, quite a long time, and still worked fine on eczema, impetigo etc.
