Pain relief for frozen shoulder

I have been taking ibroprofen and paracetamol for the pain in my arm from a frozen shoulder but quite often it doesn't really help, especially if I have had alot of pain during the night, can anyone suggest any other type of pain relief that would work better for it please?

Try acupuncture - it totally cured mine and I'm utterly sceptical about anything even vaguely 'alternative'.

I've been prescribed Diclofenac which I take with meals and top up with paracetamol on bad days/nights. Also sleep with a pillow folded in half and tucked under my arm like a rugby ball!

Have tried acupuncture without success. To be honest the only thing that's given me any sustained relief- well a few weeks- has been a steroid injection, hope to have a second one next week. Frozen shoulder is deeply unpleasant.

Steroid injection under xray guidance so it is targeted to exact place.
Otherwise it takes about 2 years to resolve.
