has these spots on my back for about 4 months now and they are not going anywhere!

I have been doctors twice and he has no idea what they are but apparently they are definately not acne!

They are mainly on my shoulder blades and tops of my arms although i get the odd few across the top of my back and in the middle too.

They are really sore sometimes and although the odd few you can squeeze, (sorry tmi), most of them you cant and are like blind boils right under the skin which just bleed if you try and pick or squeeze them. I think you can feel them more than you can see them but they still sometimes look horrid.

I have been really run down and stressed lately could this be related to the cause of the spots?

Ive got to have a blood test to see if the doc is missing anything but im not hopeful that it will find anything

Anyone got any ideas or has anything similar?

Dunno if this is relevant, but I find my back gets bad with some shampoos. Sort of flares it up. Maybe try an exfoliating body scrub, and a thingy majiggy that exfoliates, them rough pad thingys. Dunno if that ight help...

They could be sebaceous cysts but who I am to know really?.

I would ask for a referral to a dermatologist asap, your GP should have referred you before now.

il have the blood tests done then il go back to docs. If the tests dont show anything then il ask to be reffered if he doesn't suggest it first.

ive tried exfoliating things and also salt scrub but nothing really does anything except makes it more sore
