varicrose veins & leg cramps

glamerous I know...

had flat purple veins since teenage years.
last few days have been getting cramps at night where they are (next to knee).
anything I can do?
at what point do I need to see the gp?

I have them too. I get pains in the ankles with it. I have started wearing compression socks (got in amazon) this helps a bit. Not so good on the heat though. I'm planning to go to GP if it gets any worse.

I took some magnesium this afternoon, that always helped against cramps during my pregnancies.

and hopefully some cooler weather will help as well.
