I recently came off the combined contraceptive pill (6 wks ago approx). I have been on and off this pill since 1999 and have had dd and ds in that time. As I breast fed I was on the mini pill and then back onto the combined pill. Anyway periods have yet to appear but I am having loads of hot flushes- day and night. I have been to my GP but he just referred me for a blood test and results may take up to 14 days. I am 41 yo so perhaps this is the menopause? Has anyone else had this when coming off the pill? TIA
