Infected gland on perineum

Probably caused by a hair. I've been given antibiotics but what else can I do to relieve the discomfort? I gave birth naturally 7 years ago so it's really odd.

Could it be a Bartholin cyst?

I had something similar earlier this year. Only noticed it when I felt what I thought was a bruise then had a feel down below and discovered what felt like a huge lump! Mine was just to the side of perenium but quite far back near my bum. I made sure I had a really hot bath for a few nights and then i gently squeezed it after a bath and it popped like a huge zit! It did feel like a swollen gland but in hindsight I think it must have been a boil or something.
