On holiday abroad - should I go to the doctor about my muffled hearing in one ear

It feels a bit like my ear has "popped". Everything sounds a bit echoey as though that ear is at the swimming pool.

This is probably the fourth time I've had this in the last few months. Always in that ear. Never had it before that. Each time has lasted a day or two. This time I'm just going into a third day.

I'm 13 weeks pregnant. In good health.

I'm away for another week. I've got travel insurance and E111.

The NHS website says that hearing loss is a medical emergency but I'm not sure if this is hearing loss.

Should I go to the doctor here or can I wait until I get back?

Yes go get it checked out. DS had similar when we were on holiday and until they cleared the blockage they were dubious about whether he should fly home due to risk of ear drum rupture.

Thank you both. I'm driving rather than flying. I will try steam tonight and see if it's any better tomorrow.
