He only got the preliminary results today. Mass between stomach and oesophagus. He's having a CT scan on Fri to determine size, spread etc.
My brother and I live 6000 miles away from my parents. Medical care is expensive and not always available. All I can think of at the moment is how does it feel to know you will die soon. How does my Mother feel knowing she's alone and going to be a widow. How do we help. So many questions to which there are currently no answers. They are both 70 and have been together since they were 15. How can we possibly support that kind of loss from so far away. Both DB and I have young children.
