help - my eye is red

I've just looked in the mirror and half my eye is bright red like it has blood in it. It doesn't hurt but I don't like it and it looks awful, can anyone tell me anything?

Have u had an allergy lately? Maybe you rubbed it in the night? It happens to me a lot and it's nothing to worry about if you feel ok generally.

Sounds like you may have burst a blood vessel? Not serious, I don't think, and should go away on it's own. Do you have an chemist/optician nearby you could pop into - probably quicker than seeing a doctor and they could tell you more?

mmm, looks like burst blood vessel could be the diagnosis, haven't had that since giving birth to ds and then i had so much worse stuff to deal with that i'd actually forgotten it. The funny thing is now you mention it i think i know how i burst it -

ok have to admit think it was during sex last night O MY GOD dp had been away for 4 days and got back last night I am SO embarrassed has that ever happened before? (the burst blood vessel thing i mean because obviously i've been embarrassed hundreds of times)

funny things eyes! after sex last night ran straight to bathroom mirror to check out the other eye - ok thank god

dropped ds to exp yesterday evening and i was waiting for him to ask how i did it but that was silly really because he's never asked about me/cared in the past. I was determined to tell him the truth if he DID ask though i probably wouldn't in reality.
