I drink enough water, ate ice cream, opened the window but the heat is still as bad and there's only so much I can fan myself.....I feel nausea from the humidity and I had that last night to!

Should I drink a re-hydration sachet with water maybe?

I've got a headache to :/

It won't hurt, I think I underestimate how much I sweat and haven't been drinking nearly enough.

It's horrible Op , I do sympathise.

Can you lay a damp towel over yourself?

Out2pasture · 21/06/2017 02:27

Fill the tub and go sit in it

I was like this and found eating a little more salt has helped. So maybe a rehydration sachet might help?

Update- I'm thinking that this is a mild heatstroke but i'm feeling a little better by doing certain things, so far i've:

Had more water,
Had re-hydration powder solution
Hung around cooler rooms
Did the damp cloth.....it sits on my shoulders/back (v. effective!)

Thank you all for your suggestions :)
Now the nightmare continues as I'm going to try to sleep again, as its near 3am! :(

Yes will be a short night here too: you have my sympathies. Hope you feel better after some sleep.

Mix yoghurt with water (equal parts) and a little salt.

Some people hate it, I love it, but it's very effective at rehydrating.
