I need a prescription scleral contact lens for one eye only, it's not due to a medical condition (other than an irregular shaped cornea, have tried all soft lenses and RGPs!) so I'm going to have to pay privately for it. I have quite high astigmatism and am long sighted in one eye, but not the other. Does anyone else wear them and have an idea of the costs involved? Just wondering if I should bother with faffing with scleral lenses or just get the one eye lasered, as I can wear lenses in my good eye, just not the "bad" one!
