No bleeding on mini pill for years then non stop for months!

Anyone else had this. I've been on the mini pill for around 5 years now since having dc - it's been pretty good and periods have been rare. I've had maybe a day or 2 of light bleeding every 6 months or so which I'm told is completely normal. But I've now had light bleeding on and off for more than a month. Every time I think it's stopped it comes back again. I've had a smear done and it's normal - has anyone else had this?

Yep, I get this. I have a baby, go on it, have really frequent spotting, it settles and I have nothing for months and months (been about 8 months now) the it'll start up randomly again, then settle, then I'll stop for another baby (I'm not a baby factory like this makes me sound...) and so on. It does my head in. I tend to bf for a long time so have to stay on it.
Weirdly, I tend to get more bleeding when I'm dieting? Not sure if that's real or coincidence...
