Oh bloody hell what's this latest bug?

dd (aged 3) was complaining about feeling sick earlier I also noticed she has a green discharge coming from her left eye. She's just vomited everywhere and still has the green stuff coming from her eye has anyone else's dc's had something like this lately? She also had a rather sloppy poo on friday night and yesterday. I thought we were clear of illness now last week we had our first week were we were all well after 8 weeks of illness. Now this!

Ds (3) and DD 7weeks have both had the snot in eye thing for the last week or so. I am going to take them to Drs next week.

I think it's just another form of snot coming out from an orifice, so a cold really.

Ty at least she's not the only one! I'll take her to drs tommorrow if she's still the same.

could it be conjunctivitis (colour can vary from green to yellow to white)? my DD had this with cold (and sickness due to coughing) a few weeks ago. you could phone NHS24 (or NHS Direct if you're in England) as an antibiotic for th eye maybe needed. bathe eye with cotton wool balls (different one for each eye to stop spread of infection). hope it clears quickly....

My friend and her ds both got a stonking dose of conjunctivitis recently, it gave them both 'flu-like symptoms and neithe rof them could see as their eyes were so swollen. Worth getting checked out in case it can be stopped in its tracks.

The dr is phoning me back at lunchtime she vomited last night and has very loose stools and her eye is worse this morning as well. I've also woken up feeling really shakey and sick.MIl is taking ds this afternoon and i'm hoping he won't get it but I bet he will!
