Cannesten 500mg pessary while breastfeeding.

Without thinking I used it as I got thrush. Have now read the packet afterwards and it says to consult dr before using. Should I pump and dump or should it be okay? Gonna give dr a ring in the morning

Hi it will be fine. Have a look at the Vaginal thrush and breastfeeding link here:

Be really careful with hygiene, towels etc as it's easy to transfer it to your breasts. Check out the other thrush links on there for symptoms and treatment.

thats fine. you might want to take the tablet if your breasts start hurting during bf.
