Depo Provera - did you put on weight?

Depo is a contraceptive injection. Just wondered how many of you have put on weight since starting it?

I did when I was on it. My sister has just come off it as she put on 2 stone (altough to be fair we do both fluctuate a bit anyway)

i put pmn a;,post 3 staone in the 9 mths i was on it and am still struglling to shift it yet

There was me kind of thinking if I come off it I might lose the weight naturally.

I put weight on, came off it it started to come off and then I got pregnant - I was slimmer after I had the baby then when I'd been on the injections!

2 stone here too...

Yep - 2 stone! And didn't really change my eating habits.

I'm sure it has added to my weight gain, I can work it out to when it started.

I take mine because i have fibroids and had a lot of heavy bleeding! A bit reluctant to come off it
