okay - 12 days late...

A while ago I posted to say that I'd taken a pg test and thought it was positive because I'd lost the packaging. Anyhoo, that night, DH had brought me a clearblue digital which said 'not pregnant'.
However, still no period. I'm now 12 days late.
A few days before I was due, I bled ever so lightly (sorry, TMI coming up) not enough to warrent wearing anything but staining a tissue (sorry)
Suggestions? Was my very light bleed my period which would not make me 12 days late? Worth a re-test?

Sorry to keep you hanging on! I got up this morning in a rush, went to the loo and mid pee went "bugger, test!" but it was too late by then!
Just tested & not pg.
