9 month back arching, wind

Hi Guys, has anyone else had a similar problem? My 9 month old in the last week has been having terrible 'wind' problems. At night he wakes crying, arching his back, clenching his legs together and bringing his legs up and will often pass a lot of 'bottom wind'. He soothes when picked up but then cries again when put down. Some nights he will only sleep in 30 minute bursts before the pains wake him again. He also is crying a lot during the day with what looks like similar pains. This is really unlike him. I'm not sure where to start with him. I can't spot any pattern in what he's eating or anything.

maybe it could be colic? have you tried infacol? that soemtimes works but what worked better with dd was driving around at all hours (it does pass - honest) and colief in her bottles. it is expensive at nearly £10 a pop but it worked for us - maybe it will for you? it takes a few days to get in the system whereby it will line the stomach (i think). the best people to ask are the pharmacists at your local chemists. hth from fm x

Rightly or wrongly-and I am not advising you to do the same,dd was often inconsolable with wind and I gave her remegel sqished into tiny pieces.

Seemed to help-she is now 22 mts and still suffers with amjor onion (and family) reaction so we have to be very careful.

Good luck- I know how disterssing and wearing it can be.
