Ds (10 months) is on day 2 of a 3 day course of Prednisolone steroids for a rash and accompanying wheeziness. He took today's dose in his milk at 6.45, and vomitted his milk back at about 8.20. Would any of the steroid have made it into his system? If not, should I repeat the dose (we have spare tablets)?

I wouldn't repeat the dose without checking with a doctor first tbh.

No, I realised as soon as I'd posted that that would be foolish. I'll just have to explain to the Gp when we go back.

I don't think it was the steroid that made him vomit as he was Ok with it yesterday. We'd just got out of the car, so it was probably a motion sickness thing.

I wouldn't repeat it, he will have absorbed some of it.
