mirena coil- does it hurt having it removed?

I remember the pain when i had it put in because the doc got the angle slightly wrong- should i go prepared for pain or is it easier to get out?

was agony having it put in but nothing at all having it out

IME much easier - after all they soemtimes come out without people noticing! Take some paracetomol before you go.
