My 6 month dd has got the chicken pox. She seems to have it pretty bad, and has it round her eyes and her mouth. Her eyes look really red and sore. I'm not sure at what point, if any, I should take her to the gp. And if I needed to take her how would that work with infecting gthe entire surgery?! She's really hot so we've been applying the camamile cream and giving her calpol. My ds had it but not this bad. TIA.

id ring thw dctor and take her.inform them that she's got chicken pox and they might make you sit in a different room. we have out of hours doctors here and they sat my boy in a separate room last week when he had it. they were really nice.

id get it checked if its aggrivating the eyes and mouth. my boy was out on an antibiotic medicine as some of his were in his ears and have infected them. it's worth getting it checked.

we used calamine, bicarbonate soda in plain water in the bath, this helped the itching alot. we also were prescribed piriton to help with the itching. it helped alot, didn;t help him sleep though.i dn't now if there's an antihistamine for under ones?? piriton is 1 year plus.

its all worth asking though.also gave him ibuprofen for the temp.

check ages though as i cant remember what they can have at that age!
