as my 2.5yrs old dd woke up this morning looking shattered and was, and still, very clingy - she is not a clingy child. I put her back in bed 2 hours later and she was flat out for an hour till she heard her cousin came in (my Niece who is 6m younger than her) so she managed to play with her.

She had nothing to eat all day and wont take her milk either so havent got a clue whats up with her..... she still looks shattered and her body is burning up (ive already given her Calpol to bring the temp down)...

clingy - unusual for my dd, and only with me, normally she would be comforted by her dad or borther a=or gran too but not this time.

Temperature
Yards of green snot
Nasty chesty barking cough esp at night

DD is 4 and has had this about 5 days now

tis not croup here, she had that as a littlun. Not nearly as scary, this abates with a few cuddles and tixylix and bit of calpol.
Croup v v scary

Oh what I would do to be there....!!!

Sighs, I have an extra 100 worry lines this end....

we've all had the flu type bug too. High temp, sore throat, aching, coughing, no appetite.
Doc said to give ds calpol and nurofen every two hours (alternatly, not both every 2 hours), that did help a lot but still took over a week to get over it properly.
