and what does this mean? Im normally on for five days-the first two days really heavy. The third day i sort of stop and then start again the 4th day but not so heavy. My period lasts for 5 days but im only bleed for four two days either side.

I can have this, dwindle to a stop and then it has a last throw of the dice. Its a pita as it can catch you out. I have always assumed that this was normal, so would be interested if any one has any other advice

me too, has been like this for years. Am another one that sometimes gets caught out with the "restart".

Me too. Just had my first period after birth my dd2 9 months ago. First 2 days really heavy and then nothing at all for almost 2 days and then dribs and drabs. I hate it. For those first 2 days I feel so c**p.
Was never like that before I had my children.
