Can someone please advise.

The only way you can catch chicken pox from shigles is to come in to contact with the liquid from inside the blisters? Yes or No??

We have been invited to dinner at a friends tomorrow with the DC's, but her grown up daughter is coming home from Uni and has just developed a sore are on her back, which with self diagnosis and the net she is 99% sure is shingles. As yet there are no blisters, just a sore, tender area. She has'nt been to her GP yet, but knows there is no treatment unless a severe case, because of the expense.

TBH not worried if DC's do get it - better out of the way - and there is a confirmed case at pre-school anyway.

Also can DC's get the runs if they have chicken pox?
