how long does it take for antibiotics to work for bronchitis?

when does the gunk stop coming?when will I stop coughing.
I am on second lot of antibiotics after 4 weeks of rattly cough and fever.
Fever gone but still rattling away and producing loads of gunk.
Does this mean the ab's are working or not?
I am so fed up of this cough.

Lack of fever means antibs are working, and I suspect you're not producing any new gunk - it's just the current gunk working its way out.
No fun though
