I seem to be having "funny turns" - any ideas?

Had one yesterday morning - just a fleeting room spin/dizzy/light-headed moment but it made me feel quite odd.

And just now, standing in the playground - suddenly felt really panicky that I would keel over: just really dizzy and light-headed.

Any ideas? I have eaten - btw - it's not because I'm hungry.

Ear infections tend to make you feel worse when you lie down, so if you don't, prob. not one of them. But do see your GP (maybe not mentioning the syphillis).

I'll love you even if your nose falls off, DrMoo. Sounds like you have a lurgy or maybe the mean reds. Hope you feel better soon.

All I can tell you is that I have had dizzy spells, panic attacks, feeling that I will collapse etc, on and off for three years! I am a complex case as most of you know, but have had every test possible inc MRI scan and everything is ok. 100% sure in my case its stress, but its horrible all the same. Recently been diagnosed as having tinnitus as well..............aggghhhhhh!
