Face pain

Went to the dentist today and had a straight forward filling in one of my front teeth. Over the day, my face/jaw, in front of my ears has become more and more painful. It's a horrible aching feeling. Could this be due to the dental work I had done even thouht its nowhere near the filling. I have had lots of fillings in the past but never suffered from this before. Have taken ibuprofen and paracetamol and it still hurts. Please help.

if i was you i would call the nhs direct as im a old dental nurse and does sound strange its probbley just a reaction to hte injection you had but as i say get it checked out thats my advice.

Hello, thankyou vvvvvvv. I have got a hot water bottle now which is helping a bit but my neck is starting to hurt too. I wonder if its a coincidence and I am coming down with a wierd virus. Will certainly ring if it does not improve.

ur more than welcome,i would say call the denist in the morning and get a emergency app. was it a rct root canel filling? if not then maybe its what i sai. good luck
