which pill?

my friend told me the other day she is on a pill that means she doesn't get periods. i think there are a couple but i've forgotten what she said they are called - can anyone help?

Got the implant, and as happy as I am wiht not having to think of taking something...have had it for a good 1 1/2 years now, and other then the few very odd breaks from period (2 stretches of 5-6 weeks), I have been on one week and off one week, etc...and enoughs enough....lol...!
Trust me to be one of those women for whom the implant doesn't mean a break from periods

someone must be on one of these pills!
