Is this the beginning of arthritis?

Aching, stiffish knuckle (fingertip end). Slightly warmer and slightly larger than other knuckles, but not swollen.

Not been injured, not over-use. Am 50yo.

Is it worth going to GP about?

Not sure OP but I'm in the same boat. Mine is the middle joint of my right middle hand finger but all other fingers and joints are fine. There is Definately some slight enlargement of the knuckle as well. I'm only 40

I've got a GP appointment next week for something else so will definately bring it up then.

If it is arthritis, is there anything that can be done to stop it?
