does laser treatment work on 100% toenail fungus?

Have been fighting this nasty thing for about 2 years, tried most of the lotions and potions out there. Went to GP and was offered the tablets and I really don't want to take them...(i work so hard to be super healthy and toxin free, and now take the tablets that are pure toxin? argh.)

My fungus is actually not that bad, but being a perfectionist it really bugs me to have it. also not the sort of person to paint nails but have been doing it quite a lot as without it nails look...not neat.

I am quite considering the laser options, but as it is expensive really need to know that it is a guaranteed success. please share your experience with it. or maybe 100% effective super secret potion that i might not have tried? p.s.vicks, scholl, all essential oils are no secret at all :D

I'd just take the tablets. What's the point of modern medicine if you ignore and look at paying for expensive laser treatment instead?

i am considering tablets, but there is a considerable risk. My health is very important to me, thus i would rather pay up than risk liver and kidney failure.

Have you tried canespro? I think it's meant to be good if you've only got a small area of fungus, i.e. if it doesn't cover most of the nail like mine does

Have you tried treating it with vinegar? I've almost cured my big toe nail - there is just a little bit right up at the top to go and it's taken about a year. I started making real progress with it when I began using the eye end of a very fine needle to remove the "stuff" under the nail so the vinegar could get right down from the top. I also apply it all round the edge to help as well. Apparently the vinegar makes the area oo acidic for fungus to grow.

Does the infection go right down to the base of your nail? If so that's why none of the topical treatments are working, because the new nail growing through is also infected. As far as I'm aware the only way to deal with this is antifungal tablets (which I've used) but I've never heard of laser treatment for fungal nail infections.

I am glad to hear tablets worked for you but they are proved to not be 100% effective and at the moment I just feel it is not worth the risk... maybe i am not bothered that much by the fungus... but liver and kidney failure is not really easily treatable - you might end up needing a donor transplant and suffer long lasting effects.

Have you tried Gehwol oil/fluid? I did, incredibly skeptically, and it cleared the fungus up in a matter of weeks. It hasn't returned several years later.

I'm trying Fungus stop oregano oil. Sounds weird but it gets good reviews. I've only had it a week so can't say whether it's working it not yet. The liver damage side effect put me off the tablets along with the possibility of permanently losing my sense of taste!
