Pine cone sap - how to get it off!!

Sorry not sure where else to post this !
My DS has been in the garden and found a pine cone, and has been picking it and now has hands covered in sap. Does anyone know how it getr this off him as hot water and soap haven't done the trick. Thank you

rub it with baby oil...works every time

or any kind of oil would work too i guess
