Picolax - advice needed

I've had to administer 2 sachets of picolax to my ds, one on Friday, tried yesterday but failed so senna & lactulose and another sachet today. He is/was very constipated. However, yesterday we had an episode of diaorrhea and today it's been virtually non-stop. Also 3 spoons of lactulose today thinking he wasn't going to take picolax. Is it possible for the picolax to turn his hard poo into mush or is the worst still to come?

Picolax is v strong. It is used to empty you out before things like colonoscopies, so I would expect it to be diarrhoea like.

A friends dd used to have to use picolax. It can be very very runny and explosive. It will empty him out. Poor thing

I've had the stuff twice. Felt like I was on fire. First few trips were unpleasant. After that it was pure pain. But to get back to your original question, nothing hard came out at all!
