Interstitial cystitis help in pain. On elmiron.

I have Interstitial cystitis am taking elmiron and still in pain. Felling fed up and scared. The next step botol injury into bladder and Las step removal of bladder. Anyone else been thru this??

@Jeanne51 I've just come across your post years later when researching Elmiron. I wondered how things worked out for you - are you any better?

Hi answering this post 7 years later. My IC is still a major problem. I.have botox injections but still having flare ups and this has destroyed my life. Im so fed up that I am thinking of requesting my bladder removal. Bladder transplants are in their infancy. 😭

Elmiron failed
Take Regurin. Merobegron, oxybutin and botox injections supposedly every 6 months.

Oh @Jeanne51 I'm so sorry to hear that. It sounds awful.

My problem turned out to be a mixture of a condition called Aerobic Vaginitis and genitourinary syndrome of the menopause. Im not completely better but treating the infection and taking topical and systemic HRT made me feel loads better.
