have had bronchitis now for three weeks, probably longer.Have had a weeks ab's,still no better.Have been wheezing and using my ventolin quite a lot.
My asthma is usually non existant,in that I don't use preventer inhalers ,hardly ever use ventolin. But this virus or whatever is really getting to me.I suddenly thought this am that I could use some of ds's prednisilone and give myself a short dose.
Should I dose myself,how much?
It's saturday ,dr's is closed the thought of going down the duty doc route ....aargh.
I'm thinking it would be quite safe ,give myself 3-4 days of steroid and hey presto I'll be better.
Any thoughts please?

If you don't have anything that is not specifically prescribed for you I wouldn't use it.

You don't have a clue what dose & you don't know what drugs a GP would recommend.

Have to see someone I think.
