Scratch on the white of newborns eye.

Hi, feeling so bad and guilty at the moment. Was putting a bib with a popper fastening on my lg(8 weeks) when my finger slipped and I scratched the white of her eye. She screamed and I knew it must of hurt her! Feel so bad and guilty for scratching her by accident. Got an appointment in a couple of hours to get her eye checked a I think she might need eye drops.
She's sleeping at the moment but not sure how she is going to be when she wakes up. Feel like crying.
Anyone else's lo's had a scratch on their eye?

How did you get on?

These things happen and you're bound to feel bad but it was an easy mistake to make. I've been there. Try not to beat yourself up too much.

Hi, dr said she is fine. She gave me a prescription for antibiotic eye drops incase it starts to look puffy, or gunky. Feel better now that the dr had a look.
