I've been wearing Ortho K lenses for a year now. Very happy with them. But just been told by my optician that, once a year, I have to not wear them for 2 weeks in order for them to do a sight test, apparently due to "regulations". This wasn't explained to me when I subscribed and I feel is a huge disadvantage if it's true, as I will have gradually worsening vision for 2 weeks! Is it really true and if so, how do people cope for two weeks? You'd have to use daily contact lenses and guesswork every day?
