Athlete's Foot, what's the best thing to get rid of them.

I fess up, I have a bad case of Athlete's foot. I cannot shake them off and have tried just about everything. It is now affecting my big toe nails and I can't bear another summer with nasty toe nails. Before I make another expensive trip to the Chiropodist, does anyone have some useful remedies.

Yes, thrush cream. Works faster and lasts longer than anything else I've tried. Have never found a way to get rid of it forever though

i have heard but not tried it: vinegar footbath (or wipe with cotton wool) every night till it clears up. also, put vinegar in the softener compartment of the washing machine when you wash socks/trainers etc.
this is just the cheap white spirit vinegar from any supermarket.

another idea i heard was tea tree oil, use in the same way.

Canesten HC or Daktacort.
